Dr Annelen Collatz is a qualified psychologist who lives and works in Essen/Ruhr. She has developed Deep Work Coaching®, which goes far beyond normal coaching. Her coaching approach focusses on tackling the cause and not the symptoms. 

She developed the DWC from her wealth of experience, which includes coaching business leaders, top athletes and an academic career. 

Collatz studied business and clinical psychology as well as industrial science at the Ruhr University Bochum. Between 1996 and 2012, she developed test procedures on topics such as personality, leadership, employee satisfaction and organisational climate at the Faculty of Psychology, AE Methodology, Diagnostics and Evaluation.

Following her doctorate on the subject of 'Personality of top managers', she trained as a clarification-orientated psychotherapist and as a clinical hypnotherapist according to Milton Erickson. In her work, the qualified psychologist combines scientific and clinical expertise and applies it in a business context.

Annelen Collatz has been coaching the German national rowing team ("Deutschland-Achter") since 2012 and also Olympic champion Oliver Zeidler as an individual coach.

She is the author and co-author of six books.
